What’s YOUR Fitness IQ??

Question:

It’s more important to follow a particular exercise program than it is to be yourself when you approach exercise.

A. True.    B. False.    C. It depends

Answer:

Ironically, the correct answer is False. There are a lot of good exercise programs out there that could potentially help you.

But unless they fit with YOUR life, or with what YOU actually like to do, or with how YOU normally accomplish things successfully, you probably won’t do the exercise program long enough to reach your personal fitness goals.

But try this:

1.) Sit down for a few minutes with your phone and your computer OFF.

2.) Grab a pen & paper.

3.) Write down 2 to 4 physical activities you KNOW you enjoy.

4.) Schedule in your calendar to do 1 or 2 of these activities once or twice a month.

You’ll probably do more, but start off slowly.

You’ll put more fun back into your life AND get the benefits of regular exercise.
